Hot work steels are alloyed tool steels that have been specifically developed for applications at high temperatures (above 200 °C, often up to 600 °C). They are characterized by high heat resistance, hot toughness, and wear resistance. These steels are typically used for tools in the forging, die casting, and extrusion industries.
We maintain stock of the most widely used hot-work steel grades in round and flat dimensions, from small rolled formats to large forging dimensions.
For applications with the highest material requirements, we also offer many grades in ESR (Electroslag Remelted) quality.
